Preferred Hotels Adds Two Tiers to Rewards Program
I Prefer now offers four earning levels, each providing members with distinct benefits
The Preferred Hotels & Resorts loyalty program, I Prefer, has announced the addition of two new membership tiers. The new tiers are Explorer and Authority – each with its own set of distinct benefits – bringing to four the total number of levels in the program.
The four tier levels are:
- Insider (0-24,999 points) offers early check-in and late checkout, upgrades based on availability and free WiFi
- Explorer (25,000-49,999 points), includes all Insider benefits, plus a welcome amenity and 20 percent bonus points per eligible stay
- Elite (50,000+ points), including all Insider and Explorer member benefits plus 50 percent bonus points earnings, digital anniversary gift and a food and beverage offering
- Authority (invite-only access), providing all other benefits as well as free breakfast for two, complimentary lounge access, dedicated reservation line and the ability to gift Elite status to three friends per calendar year.
The program also added a Refer-A-Friend bonus, providing 1,000 bonus points for each new sign-up referred by a member.
Preferred Hotels & Resorts represents some 750 distinctive hotels, resorts, residences, across 85 countries, including the recently premiered Beyond Green brand, a collection of hotels, resorts, and lodges with the focus on sustainability.
The I Prefer rewards program, which the company calls the world’s largest loyalty program for independent hotels, has also just launched I Prefer Auctions, a new platform that lets members use their points to bid on a selection of experiences available across 11 independent hotels in North America.
