Preferred Hotel Group has announced the launch of Beyond Green, a new hospitality brand that brings together a collection of hotels, resorts, and lodges with the focus on sustainability.

According to the announcement, the brand will debut in the first quarter of 2021 with a portfolio of 24 properties in 15 countries, five of which are in the US: Bentwood Inn in Jackson Hole, WY, Ted Turner Reserves Vermejo, Raton, NM, and three California properties – Cavallo Point in Sausalito, Post Ranch Inn, Big Sur, and The Ranch at Laguna Beach.

Beyond Green members share a commitment to the three key pillars of sustainable tourism: environmentally friendly practices that go beyond the basics; protection of natural and cultural heritage; and contributing to the social and economic wellbeing of local communities.

The Beyond Green hospitality brand is a collaboration between the Ueberroth family, owners of Preferred Hotel Group, Inc., and ecotourism pioneer Costas Christ, the founder of Beyond Green Travel, which Preferred acquired in February.

“Never before has there been a greater need to promote a kinder and gentler way to explore our beautiful, yet fragile planet,” said Lindsey Ueberroth, CEO of Preferred Hotel Group, Inc. “We believe that now is the time to go big and be bold as we look to the future of travel.”

In addition to the new hospitality brand, Preferred Hotel Group manages and operates global travel and hospitality brands including Preferred Hotels & Resorts, Historic Hotels of America, Historic Hotels Worldwide, PHG Consulting and Beyond Green Travel.

The Beyond Green platform will support the needs of its member properties by providing global connectivity, distribution technology, marketing, sales, quality assurance, branding, and sustainability solutions. In addition members will have the opportunity to participate in I Prefer Hotel Rewards.

Preferred Hotels and Resorts has announced that the expiration date for points in the I Prefer program have been extended for all members globally through June 30, 2021. Points normally expire after 24 months of inactivity.
