The Business Traveler U.S. Award Winners 2022

Business Traveler is thrilled to announce its U.S. Travel Awards winners! This year, The Business Traveler U.S. Awards celebrate the best in travel, from the world’s top airlines and airports to hotels and other travel essentials.

A short list of nominees was chosen by a select panel of aviation writers, hospitality professionals and editors, with the winners named by our readers and experts. We have redesigned this year’s awards, with comprehensive items describing the strengths of the victorious brands.

Airlines & Cabins

These domestic and international airline carriers provided exceptional service for flyers this year. Delta Air Lines leads the pack with eight awards, including Best North American Business Class, Best Frequent Flyer Program, and Best Airline App. Find out which airlines’ business, first and premium economy cabins received top marks, and whose cuisine and wine programs satisfied in the sky. This award category recognizes the best airports around the world, focusing on North American and international hubs. We considered factors that enhance the overall travel experience before take-off and landing, including airport lounges. We also recognized airport amenities that made layovers more enjoyable. Credit Cards, Luggage, Land and Ocean Transit

How you pay for travel has become invaluable for business and vacation needs, from hotel perks to flight points. American Express Platinum wins in each of its nominated categories, while Rimowa’s stylish and durable luggage collections earn the award for Best Luggage Brand. We also looked at all areas of transportation to determine who excelled in travel and transit, including car services, trains and cruises. The hotel industry achieved record numbers in bookings this year, as they welcomed business and leisure travelers back.
