Radisson Collection Brand Set to Premiere in Germany

Rebranding of the former Radisson Blu Berlin is scheduled for autumn following a €20 million modernization

Radisson Hotel Group has announced that its first property in Germany under the Radisson Collection brand is scheduled to open in autumn. The existing 427-room Radisson Blu Berlin is currently undergoing a €20 million renovation, which includes redesigned rooms, alongside the property’s lobby, bar and conference areas.

The property is located in the city’s Mitte district opposite Berlin Cathedral, within the DomAquarée City Quartier complex. Radisson said that it expects the rebranding of the hotel to attract additional guests, “especially from Asia.”

The Radisson Collection was launched in 2018 as a replacement for the Quorvus Collection, as part of wider group restructuring of the Radisson Hotel Group.

The premium lifestyle brand has recently expanded its footprint in China and Africa with the debut of the 185-room Radisson Collection Hotel Xing Guo in Shanghai and the 200-room Radisson Collection Hotel Bamako in the capital city of Mali.
