Priority Pass Members Now Enjoy Fast-Track VIP One Security at JFK

Priority Pass holders can now be fast-tracked through security at JFK’s Terminal 1, as the VIP One service is added to the program’s list of perks.

In 2019, New York JFK International Airport launched a dedicated security checkpoint for travelers willing to pay. While TSA PreCheck and CLEAR give passengers access to shorter security lines in the main security checkpoint and let them skip certain steps of the screening, such as removing their shoes and identity verification, JFK’s VIP One is a separate, private security checkpoint entirely.

VIP One has now opened an exclusive departure lounge for its guests, located landside at JFK Terminal One, on the Departures Level (Level 2) behind counters E and F and next to the TSA checkpoint for the general public.

VIP One offers three tiers of service. VIP One Silver, priced at $45 per person per visit, grants access to the departure lounge and private TSA security checkpoint. First Class passengers on Air France, Korean Air, and Lufthansa can enjoy complimentary access to this level of service.

VIP One Gold service includes curbside assistance with luggage, check-in assistance, and an escort to the boarding gate or lounge that the passenger already has access to.

The highest level of service, VIP One Platinum, priced at $200 per person per visit, is similar to the Gold tier, with the only additional perk being an escort to both the lounge and boarding gate.

Priority Pass subscribers are now gaining access to VIP One’s fast-track security checkpoint and the lounge. The program, which gives members complimentary or discounted access to more than 1,400 airport lounges globally, starts at $99 annually.

The VIP One checkpoint is open from 8 a.m. to midnight every day. Gold and Platinum service must be booked at least 48 hours in advance.
