Delta frequent flyers with elite status can access a range of new benefits this year, including exclusive, personalized bag tags to show off as they jet across the globe.
The airline’s 2025 Medallion Year began on February 1, running until January 31, 2026, providing an array of opportunities for SkyMiles Medallion Members to get the most out of their elite status, with new ways to earn and enhanced benefits and rewards.
How to Order
Delta Medallion Members, who hold one of the four elite status tiers—Silver, Gold, Platinum, and Diamond—can now showcase their status with personalized metal bag tags.

To order their own tag, members can visit deltamedalliontags.com and log in using their SkyMiles account. Different colors are available based on their status, including an exclusive red tag for members with Million Miler status.
Tags can be personalized in various ways, including adding their name, their SkyMiles Membership details, the year they joined the program, their Million Miler status, and more.

All Medallion Members can order two bag tags, straps included, for free.
Delta’s Enhanced Choice Benefits
Medallion Members will also enjoy better value on most Choice Benefits this Medallion year, which can be easily selected via the Fly Delta mobile app.
These exclusive benefits include bonus miles, Medallion Qualification Dollars (MQD) Accelerators, Status gifting, Travel Vouchers, and Delta Vacations experiences.

According to Delta, 97 percent of Medallion Members use the Fly Delta app on their day of travel, with most users reporting greater satisfaction with their overall travel experience.
Partners to Earn Miles
Meanwhile, Members can continue to earn miles and rewards by spending with almost 70 partner companies, from credit cards and airline partners to car rentals, hotels, and cruises.
High-profile partner brands include Starbucks, Ticketmaster, Hertz, and Airbnb. And this Spring, ride-share giant Uber will become the latest brand to partner with Delta SkyMiles, allowing Members to earn miles on qualifying Uber rides and Uber Eats deliveries.

Finally, the airline’s frequent flyers can now access exclusive early Member-only Award Deals, which provide regular flash sales on flights to popular cities and new destinations.
Last year, Delta reported that millions of award flights were purchased for fewer than 25,000 miles each. To take advantage of these limited-time sales, Members are encouraged to update their SkyMiles account and opt-in to receive email updates.
Opportunities for Non-Medallion Members
For SkyMiles customers who are not yet a Medallion Member, the Fly Delta app allows them to track their MQDs to see how far off they are from elite status, while frequent flyers loyal to other airlines can use Delta’s Medallion Status Match scheme and previous members who have lost their status for whatever reason can use the airline’s Reclaim My Status program.

Passengers who are not yet SkyMiles members can join up for free and begin to enjoy a range of benefits immediately, without needing to reach elite status, including free onboard Wi-Fi, a personalized in-flight entertainment experience, and exclusive offers from partner brands.
