Delta’s New Premium Lounges Set to Open at Three U.S. Gateways
Each lounge will feature design and amenities that are unique to its host city

Delta Air Lines plans to launch its new “premium” lounges in 2024, offering a higher level of service than its existing Sky Club lounges.
The premium lounges will be located at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX), John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK), and Boston Logan International Airport (BOS), and each lounge will have a design and offerings that are “inspired by and unique” to its host city.

The JFK premium lounge will be the first to open, and it will be a massive 38,000-square-foot space with a year-round terrace, a “full-service brasserie, chef-assisted market with open kitchens, and dedicated wellness areas.”
The LAX premium lounge will be a 10,000-square-foot location with a terrace, while the BOS premium lounge will seat 120 customers in its 6,300-square-foot space.
Delta’s Vice President of Sky Club and Lounge Experience, Claude Roussel, said that the airline wants to provide a “highly personalized and dedicated level of service” to each guest. The premium lounges will offer “a heightened level of service and hospitality,” but Delta has not yet specified which passengers will be allowed to enter them since access guidelines are yet to be finalized.
The flagship premium lounge at JFK is set to open in June 2024, and the other two lounges will open by the last quarter of 2024.

In addition to the premium lounges, Delta is opening two new Sky Clubs and expanding two pre-existing clubs.
The airline will open a 15,000-square-foot Sky Club lounge at Charlotte Douglas International Airport (CLT) in North Carolina, its first in the state.
Delta will also open a 21,000-square-foot Sky Club lounge in Terminal A at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA), its second club at the airport.
The expanded Sky Club lounge at Miami International Airport (MIA) will open in Q2 of 2024, and Delta will finalize the expansion of its Sky Club at LaGuardia Airport (LGA) by early summer. The LaGuardia club will have a brand-new Sky Deck and over 100 extra seats throughout the space.
