Aer Lingus is expanding its transatlantic network by launching nonstop flights between Dublin and Nashville next spring.

Beginning on April 12, 2025, the Irish flag carrier will operate four weekly flights from Dublin Airport (DUB) to Nashville International Airport (BNA), the first-ever nonstop connection between the two culturally important cities.

Aer Lingus will operate the route with its brand-new Airbus A321XLR aircraft, the latest, state-of-the-art addition to its fleet. Having only been certified by the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) in June this year, Aer Lingus expects to receive its first delivery of the long-range aircraft later this month and has yet to unveil its seat map.

While Tennessee residents can use the new flights to explore the lively city of Dublin and the rest of Ireland’s cultural and historical attractions, they can also take advantage of Aer Lingus’ extensive network across Europe, with easy connections to 22 destinations, including Amsterdam (AMS), Berlin (BER), Edinburgh (EDI), London (LHR), Manchester (MAN), Paris (CDG), and Rome (FCO).

“We are thrilled to add Nashville to our expanding North American network, offering Irish customers direct access into one of the most exciting and culturally rich cities in the United States,” said Susanne Carberry, Chief Customer Officer at Aer Lingus.

“The connection between Irish and American country music runs deep and Nashville’s iconic status as the capital of country music makes it a dream destination for music lovers. Its fast-growing fashion, finance, healthcare, and automotive industries also offer plenty of opportunities for business travelers.”

Doug Kreulen, President and CEO of the Metropolitan Nashville Airport Authority (MNAA), said: “A new chapter in travel history begins today as a nonstop flight links Music City and the Emerald Isle through our exciting new partnership with Aer Lingus.”

“Nashville’s legendary music scene and Dublin’s rich history make this a natural pairing. This nonstop flight will offer travelers an unforgettable opportunity to experience the best of both worlds, from exploring Ireland’s stunning landscapes and ancient ruins to immersing themselves in Nashville’s vibrant Broadway experience. It’s the perfect combination for those seeking adventure, culture, and a truly unforgettable journey.”

With the launch of this new route, Nashville will become Aer Lingus’ 17th U.S. destination, adding to the Irish airline’s growing North American network, while Nashville will have nonstop connections to three European destinations next year.

Just last month, Icelandair announced it is launching nonstop flights to Nashville from Reykjavík (KEF) next May, adding to BNA’s sole transatlantic service to date – British Airways’ daily service to London Heathrow.

Outbound flights are scheduled to leave Dublin at 2:05 PM on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays, arriving in Nashville at 5:10 PM local time. Return legs will leave Music City at 6:40 PM and touch back down in the Irish capital at 8:50 AM the next day.
