At The Estate at Heitz Cellar, you can enjoy an exclusive look at these storied wines in their ancestral home.
Guests are also offered the chance to sample these inimitable products and compare their flavors through the years in the “Martha’s Vineyard Legacy at the Estate” opportunity held at The Estate, an iconic site renowned for producing some of the world’s most elegant and enduring single vineyard Cabernet Sauvignons for over 50 years. This experience is the latest to be curated by Heitz, inviting guests to a 90-120-minute vertical tasting of five unparalleled library vintages from Martha’s Vineyard between the years of 2006-2019 – the perfect way to indulge the wine enthusiast in your life.

Heitz Cellar also hosts tours of its historic vineyards, a rare look into its legendary grounds. Heitz, as part of Lawrence Wine Estates’ partnership with car brand Lexus, has just launched “Vineyard Immersion Experiences”. A first-of-its-kind collaboration, guests will embark on unique tours and tastings across a range of estates, including Heitz Cellar, all from the comfort of luxury Lexus vehicles.
Through Heitz Cellar: The Rutherford Legacy at Trailside Vineyard & The Salon, guests can explore the historic Trailside Vineyard, some of the most coveted terroir in Napa Valley, from the passenger seat of a Lexus LX 600 & RZ 450e. Following the vineyard visit, guests will enjoy a vertical tasting of the Trailside Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon at The Salon at Heitz Cellar.

Another iconic collaboration that’s planting Heitz at the forefront of luxury wine-based destinations is Vintages in the Villa. This hybrid accommodation-and-activity partnership with Bardessono Hotel & Spa invites guests to an enriching one-on-one wine education experience from the comfort of their own villa. These sessions are personally led by Heitz Cellar Estate Director and Master Sommelier, Erik Elliott. Following the tasting at the villa, guests will enjoy an immersive tour of the estate, as well as an onsite tasting at The Salon.
According to Elliott, “striking a balance between luxury and accessibility is a key part of (the Heitz) philosophy. Offering a range of experiences allows more people to discover the craftsmanship behind (the) wines, while maintaining a sense of exclusivity and luxury through exceptional service and attention to detail.”
