Portland, Oregon is one of the gems of the Pacific Northwest. Famous for its thriving cultural scene, proximity to nature, and environmentalism, the City of Roses is about to reach a new level by welcoming The Ritz-Carlton Residences, Portland, the first property in the region for the luxury brand.
Welcoming guests and residents starting this fall, The Ritz-Carlton Residences, Portland promises the best of luxury urban living for both visitors and permanent residents. Housed in Block 216, a soon-to-be-finished mixed-use tower in the heart of downtown that will take the title of Portland’s fourth-tallest building upon completion, The Ritz-Carlton Residences, Portland will house 132 residences and penthouses alongside a 251-room hotel.

The complex will feature sumptuous amenities for both guests and residents inspired by the best experiences Portland has to offer. On the 19th floor, state-of-the-art wellness facilities include a gym featuring new, innovative exercise equipment and a serene yoga studio, while the Hidden Mountain Lake water lounge features an infinity pool and a jacuzzi. Both feature floor to ceiling windows with incredible city views. The Ritz-Carlton Spa, meanwhile, provides massages, facials, and body treatments.
Food and beverage options are plentiful as well, with each taking cues from Portland’s globally renowned food scene. After meeting friends and guests in Forest Hall, the building’s vast atrium space designed to recall the great forests and mountains of the region, grab a drink at the hotel lobby bar featuring small plates and locally sourced beer and wine. At Bellpine, the hotel restaurant, Executive Chef Pedro Almeida has perfected a menu of fine cuisine featuring ingredients gathered from nearby forests and waters, perfectly complemented by the peerless views from the restaurant’s 20th-floor location. For those in the mood for something more casual, Flock, the ground floor food hall inspired by Portland’s food truck culture, features a collection of vendors serving global favorites.

Residences are available in one-, two-, and three-bedroom configurations ranging from 1,100 to 4,000 square feet, each with its own balcony. Ample bike storage and parking are available, and links with public transportation are close and plentiful.
Environmental considerations are also taken heavily into account. The building is designed with earthquake safety in mind, with shatter-proof glass used extensively. An eco roof system and other water consumption considerations in the plumbing are designed to save water. Additionally, ample vegetation has been planted during construction and the building is pursuing LEED Gold certification.
