Model and entrepreneur Lori Harvey has made a splash with the launch of her swim brand, Yevrah. “I’m a water baby. I love to spend time by the water. It’s a calming energy for me.” Available on Revolve, the first collection is a love letter to her favorite beach destinations. “I’m working on a second drop now. This collection will feel different from the last and show where I am creatively.” Adding designer to her many job titles changed how she travels, as she draws inspiration from cultures, landscapes and food. Here, her recent trips.

Ibiza, Spain

“I went for the first time last summer for a girls’ trip. It’s easily become one of my favorite places to vacation now. When I got there, I just felt a really good energy. We got a gorgeous house by the sea and just had the best time. The scenery is amazing, and the water’s incredible and so warm. It inspired me when I was creating my swim line—I named one of the swimsuits after it.”

“It’s always a good time. It’s not far from Los Angeles, so it feels like you’re taking a trip without going too far from home. There are yummy tacos, margaritas, sunshine and lying out by the pool or beach—that’s a great combo for me. The two hotels I stay at are the Waldorf and One&Only Palmilla. I haven’t stayed at Nobu Los Cabos yet, but I’ve heard great things.”

“I’m a naturally laid-back person, which is why I live in Los Angeles, but I love the hustle and bustle of the city. I’m always in and out for work, whether it’s a photo shoot or event. I love to get my steps in, so I love that it’s a walking city. I’m a foodie and there are so many amazing restaurants. I may sound clichéd, but I have to get Carbone when I’m there. And Sadelle’s—I need that French toast.”

Paris

“I was there for Fashion Week, but Paris is one of my favorite cities in the world. I’ll go any time of year. I instantly get happy when the plane touches down. For me Paris is all about fashion and food: They have the best butter, cheese and chocolate. It was my first time staying at the Bulgari Hotel, and it’s become one of my favorite places to stay in Paris. The staff was amazing and everything was perfection.”
