United Opens New Lounge at Fort Lauderdale International

United Clubs are also planned for Louis Armstrong International Airport in New Orleans, LaGuardia Terminal B and Raleigh-Durham International

The latest addition to United Airlines’ network of United Club lounges is now open at Fort Lauderdale International Airport, and three more are on their way in 2019. The 5,000-square-foot Fort Lauderdale United Club is located near gate C1. Amenities include complementary high-speed wifi and locally influenced food and drink selections.

United also plans to open United Clubs in the new terminal at Louis Armstrong International Airport in New Orleans, as well as lounges in New York’s LaGuardia Airport’s Terminal B (where United will relocate later this year) and at Raleigh-Durham International Airport.

The airline has more than 50 United Club lounges worldwide. Lounges are available to United premium-class passengers on international or transcontinental flights, Star Alliance Gold members, United Club members, active-duty US military members in uniform, and premium-level Amtrak and Air Canada travelers.

“United Clubs are the perfect spot for our customers to relax and recharge and we are excited to open the first of four new United Clubs this year,” said United’s chief customer officer Toby Enqvist. “Our multimillion-dollar investment in the United Clubs is one of many ways we are working to improve every aspect of our customers’ experience.”
