Radisson Debuts Blu Hotel Brand in Canada

After extensive renovations, the Radisson Blu has opened in downtown Toronto

Radisson Hotel Group has announced the opening of its first Radisson Blu property in Canada. The former Radisson Admiral Toronto Habourfront and has undergone “extensive renovation” and is now known as the Radisson Blu Toronto Downtown.

The 157-room property features Watermark Restaurant (which is scheduled to open fully in 2021), a 24-hour grab and go market, a rooftop pool, fitness center and 12,000 square feet of meeting space.

The hotel is within walking distance of the Rogers Centre, Scotiabank Arena, the CN Tower and the Hockey Hall of Fame, and around five minutes’ drive from the city’s close-in Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport.

The Radisson Blu brand has been focused mostly in the EMEA region, but has gradually been spreading its wings in the Americas, with the recent debut of the brand in the Dominican Republic.

Other Radisson Blu properties set to open in the US before the end of the year include the Radisson Blu Anaheim close to the Disneyland Resort in California, and the Radisson Blu Fargo in North Dakota.
