Hyatt Regency JFK Airport Opens

The property, featuring 400 rooms and suites, is located in Queens at Resorts World New York, the city’s only casino

Hyatt has announced the opening of the Hyatt Regency JFK Airport at Resorts World New York. The newest property in the Hyatt Regency portfolio is located in the Borough of Queens minutes from John F. Kennedy International airport.

Resorts World New York City opened in 2011 and is the city’s only casino, operated by the Genting Group. The Hyatt Regency occupies eight stories and features 366 guestrooms, many of which provide floor-to-ceiling windows offering views of the Manhattan skyline or the runways of JFK.

Additionally the 34 suites have kitchenettes and separate living spaces. All guestrooms and suites highlight “energizing” design and “insightful” in-room technology.

Food and beverage outlets include café and confectionary shop Sugar Factory, a grab-and-go market offering “fast-casual dining” and prepackaged items, and the Regency Club where guests benefit from daily continental breakfast, evening hors d’oeuvres and light snacks.

The property also includes a fitness center, 7,000 square feet of indoor meeting space, and a grand lobby that can also be used for events such as art exhibitions, receptions and musical performances.

Hyatt operates over 200 Hyatt Regency properties in more than 30 countries, including recent debuts in Guangzhou and Urayasu city, thirty minutes from central Tokyo.
