Hilton’s Luxury Portfolio Expands in Mexico

Three new all-inclusive resort properties are set to open in premiere beach front destinations in Puerto Vallarta and Tulum

Hilton Hotels and Resorts has added three all-inclusive resort properties to its portfolio in Mexico: the Hilton Vallarta Riviera All-Inclusive Resort, the Hilton Tulum All-Inclusive Resort, and the Conrad Tulum.

Hilton Vallarta Riviera Resort

Situated between the beaches of the Bay of Banderas and the Sierra Madres Mountain, the 444-room Hilton Vallarta Riviera All-Inclusive Resort is set to convert in the fourth quarter of 2021.

The resort features a private beach, two outdoor swimming pools, a full-service spa, fitness center, six craft cocktail bars and seven specialty restaurants. The property offers nearly 26,000 square feet divided into 13,000 square feet of outdoor event space and 13,000 square feet of flexible indoor meeting space.

Conrad Tulum All-Inclusive Resort

Conrad Tulum

The newly built 349-room Conrad Tulum is scheduled to join the Hilton portfolio in Q4 2021.  Located near one of the best-preserved Mayan sites in Mexico, the property will be Conrad Hotels & Resorts’ first hotel in Quintana Roo on the eastern coast of the Yucatan Peninsula.

Accommodations will include master suites, governor suites, and presidential suites. Guests can choose from seven restaurants and bars featuring an array of cuisine options, and relax and unwind in five pools.

Hilton Tulum Resort

Set to become part of the Hilton portfolio in Q1 2022, the 735-room oceanfront Hilton Tulum All-Inclusive Resort will offer unrestricted views of the Caribbean. The resort will have seven dining experiences featuring international cuisine, a multiple-pool complex with a waterpark, and a secluded beach.

Hilton Tulum All-Inclusive Resort

In addition, the Conrad Tulum and Hilton Tulum All-Inclusive Resort together will offer all guests access to a 21,500-plus square foot spa, with 16 treatment rooms and a pool. For meetings and events, the resorts share a 55,000 square foot convention center and an auditorium that seats up to 400 people.

Hilton has more than 70 hotels open in Mexico, and more than 30 in the development pipeline. The three new resort properties join a string of recent Hilton debuts in the country, including the June opening of the Yucatan Resort Playa del Carmen, part of Hilton’s Tapestry Collection portfolio, and the Umbral, Curio Collection by Hilton which opened in 2019 in a restored and modernized historic structure in downtown Mexico City.

“Mexico has always been an incredibly important destination for Hilton,” said Danny Hughes, executive vice president and president, Americas, Hilton. “These new additions are one more symbol that tourism in Mexico is rebounding and it is with great pride that we continue evolving our offerings in this burgeoning market, especially in the luxury and all-inclusive segments.”

Hilton Vallarta Riviera All-Inclusive Resort, Hilton Tulum All-Inclusive Resort, and Conrad Tulum will all participate in Hilton Honors. Members who book directly will have access to instant benefits, including a flexible payment slider, exclusive member discounts, free standard WiFi, and access to the Hilton Honors mobile app.
