No other US airlines have announced similar plans, although crowding has become an industry wide problem as lounges have become more popular and access options have increased.

Under Delta’s new policy, which took effect on November 15, lounge access is restricted to Sky Club members, international premium-cabin passengers, Skyteam elite members on some international itineraries, and premium Delta or American Express credit card holders.
The $59/5,000 mile single-visit passes will no longer be sold.
“Each day we’re continuing to invest in the Club to provide an elevated experience, and today access to the Club is in higher demand than ever,” the airline said in a statement, saying the changes were made “to ensure we can continue to provide an exceptional Club experience and take care of guests that choose to fly with us or with our partners.”
Any current holders of single-visit passes can still use them as long as the expiration date is valid and they are travelling on Delta or one of its partner airlines.
