Chicago Hotel Room Tour – Tower Room at Palmer House

Originally opened in 1871, Palmer House, a Hilton Hotel is one of the oldest continuously operating hotels in North America.

The elegant current structure was built between 1923 and 1925 and remains one of Chicago’s and the country’s best (and biggest) luxury hotels. Located in the city’s central Loop District, Palmer House has 1,641 guest rooms. 177 are Executive Rooms and 53 are suites, including 11 Presidential-level suites. There is a huge amount of meeting and event space, an enormous health club (with an indoor pool) and a popular spa.

The rooms and suites, all equipped with Hilton’s signature Serenity Beds, have all been recently renovated and re-styled. Here’s a tour of a Tower Room and a quick look at the rooftop herb garden with the hotel’s executive chef Stephen Henry. The video also features some amazing drone footage of the Chicago skyline and the Gold Coast area of Lake Michigan.
