Aeromexico Adds Free Messaging Service to Dreamliners
The service allows passengers to send or receive text messages through WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger or iMessage
Aeromexico has introduced free inflight messaging on its Boeing 787 Dreamliners, following a launch of the service on its 737s in March. The tool allows passengers to send or receive text messages through WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger or iMessage.
Passengers must enable airplane mode on their device and then connect to the Aeromexico WiFi Internet access network. Inflight wifi packages are also available for a fee that allow passengers to download images, videos and e-mails or surf the web.
Aeromexico received its first Dreamliner in 2016 and now has nine in its fleet, serving destinations including New York, LA, London, Madrid and Paris.
