Paradisus by Meliá, a luxury all-inclusive hotel brand by Meliá Hotels International, is making waves this year. The brand has a new property in Punta Cana, a resort designed for adults in Los Cabos, an exciting chef partnership, brand new suites, and much more on tap. Each of the properties is all-inclusive yet keeps the destination at the heart of the experience, offering guests immersive experiences integrating the local culture. The brand also intends to elevate the all-inclusive experience, drifting away from what travelers would typically expect in favor of more personalized, luxury experiences.

All About the Destination Inclusive® Program

Launched in 2023, the new Destination Inclusive® Program has been a hit with guests at Paradisus by Meliá properties. With this program, each property is shaped by its destination and connects guests to the resorts’ local communities, transforming the way travelers experience all-inclusive resorts. Local immersive experiences are available to all guests, from design and amenities that encompass arts and craft workshops, to local dining options, on-property entertainment activities, and more. In The Reserve suites, guests can also enjoy an exclusive Destination Inclusive® activity outside the resort, such as visiting a cenote with a local shaman in Cancun or exploring the beauty of an ancient canyon in Los Cabos.

This January, Paradisus by Meliá unveiled a new property in its portfolio: Paradisus Grand Cana – All Suites. The all-inclusive family experience in stunning Punta Cana joins Paradisus Palma Real as the brand’s second property in the destination. Renovated in early 2023, Paradisus Grand Cana seamlessly blends luxury resort amenities with fun entertainment. Its tailored Destination Inclusive® experiences immerse guests in Punta Cana’s local culture through regional décor, cuisine, and curated activities.

As the only adults-only Paradisus by Meliá resort in the Caribbean, it’s easy to understand why Paradisus La Perla is so popular. Recently, the property revealed 49 new renovated suites in The Reserve, an enhanced in-room experience designed to celebrate the beauty of the landscape with utmost comfort and privacy for guests looking to relax and unwind in calm and tranquility. Each suite features new destination-inspired designs, new amenities, and local products. In addition to the new suites, the hotel has also revealed newly designed bars and restaurants, such as the South Avenue Bar, Twelvet, Nespresso Corner, and Blue Agave Restaurant.

Paradisus Los Cabos, a resort member of The Leading Hotels of the World, joins Paradisus La Perla and Spain’s Paradisus Salinas Lanzarote as the third adults-only Paradisus property. The resort features new and improved adult-focused programming encompassing the property’s many amenities, from its restaurants to the revamped The Reserve suites, which offer guests access to secluded areas on the beach, at the pool, or in resort lounges. Refined service, exquisite architecture and magnificent facilities ensure a luxurious experience that respects the natural environment and offers the opportunity to enjoy an elegant vacation.

Collaboration with Chef Antonia Lofaso

In November, the Paradisus brand announced a new culinary partnership with celebrity chef Antonia Lofaso. The partnership introduces a specially curated, limited-edition menu that was designed for guests by the chef herself. It emphasizes the use of local ingredients, integrates local products, and pays homage to Chef Lofaso’s Italian-American roots. The custom menu is served within the resort’s Italian restaurant concepts—Capella in Mexico and Mascalzone in the Dominican Republic. The partnership is yet another example of a guest amenity that elevates the all-inclusive Paradisus experience.
