Qatar Airways is attempting to elevate its renowned dining experience through its new partnership with French celebrity chef Yannick Alléno, which includes the opening of a brand-new restaurant at one of its airport lounges in Doha.

The Qatar flag carrier announced its new partnership with the award-winning chef on June 16, promising to deliver a refined and elegant dining service to premium passengers on select flights and lounges.

17 Michelin Stars

Chef Alléno is one of the most respected figures in the culinary world, holding no less than 17 Michelin stars across his portfolio of 19 restaurants in seven countries around the world.

Focusing on ‘modern cuisine,’ his ingenious approach to cooking uses a variety of modern techniques to bring out the full flavor of his dishes, such as extraction, fermentation, and cryo-concentration.

Exclusive Collaboration

Alléno’s collaboration with Qatar Airways will see his exclusively curated dishes introduced to premium passengers both in the skies and in its lounges. Part of this includes the opening of a brand-new Pavyllon restaurant at its luxurious First Class lounge at Doha Hamad International Airport (DOH).

This new restaurant, which also has locations in high-flying cities like Paris, London, and Monte Carlo, will allow guests to experience Alléno’s ‘gastronomic counter’ concept. This trademark feature of the chef’s multiple restaurants lets diners sit at an open kitchen-facing counter, witnessing the expertise of the cooks preparing their food.

Where to Enjoy?

Alléno’s dishes will also be made available to guests at the airline’s lounges at Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport (CDG), while First Class and Business Class passengers on select flights between Doha and Paris will also be presented with his creations.

According to Qatar Airways, its new dining experience will allow its passengers to “engage with the essence of ingredient-driven cooking,” while promising to provide its customers with an unforgettable culinary experience.
