Terminal 1 at Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA) is now home to Kyra Lounge, a premium hospitality experience born from a partnership between Airport Dimensions, SSP, and Travel Food Services.

Conveniently located off the central concourse by Gate 23, Kyra Lounge spans 744 square meters and can accommodate up to 150 guests.

With an abundance of comfortable seating, ergonomically designed workstations, and a diverse selection of culinary delights and beverages, the lounge has been crafted to meet the needs of even the most demanding travelers.

Contemporary Design

The lounge features floor-to-ceiling windows that bathe the space in natural light, offering guests panoramic views of the runways and the Hong Kong skyline.

A striking bar crafted from reclaimed typhoon-damaged wood is the lounge’s centerpiece. Adorned with fluted wooden paneling and illuminated by warm white light, the bar underscores Kyra Lounge’s commitment to sustainability.

“We are delighted to unite the expertise of three industry-leading businesses to deliver Kyra Lounge at Hong Kong International Airport,” said Errol McGlothan, President of EMEA & APAC at Airport Dimensions. “This venture builds on the success of Chase Sapphire Lounge by The Club at HKIA and is a perfect addition to our growing portfolio in APAC.”

LoungeKey or Priority Pass network members enjoy complimentary access to Kyra Lounge. Other HKIA travelers can purchase entry online, at least six hours before their flight, for $80.

Sustainability in Mind

From an energy efficiency perspective, the lounge operates a daylight harvesting system that adjusts its electric lighting based on the amount of natural light available.

Solar fins on the windows also help regulate the lounge’s temperature, ensuring guests’ comfort while reducing energy consumption.

Food and Beverage

Inside, guests can indulge in a menu curated by food travel experts SSP, featuring a range of local and international dishes. From delectable Hong Kong street food to classic Western cuisine, there is something to suit every palate.

The well-stocked bar offers a variety of beers, wines, spirits, juices, soft drinks, and a menu of cocktails and mocktails crafted specifically for Kyra.
