Dallas residents will soon get a new link to Asia as the Taiwanese carrier EVA Air has announced it is launching nonstop flights from Taipei to the Texan city next year.
Starting November 3, 2025, EVA Air will launch five weekly flights between Taipei (TPE) and Dallas Fort Worth International Airport (DFW). While tickets for these new flights are not yet available, the exact schedule and aircraft to be used for the service have not been announced.
Currently, the airline operates most long-haul flights to the U.S. with its Boeing 777-300ER and the route to Seattle with a Boeing 787-10 Dreamliner. The new route to Dallas will likely be operated by the Triple Seven due to its increased cargo payload and range capabilities.
Once the route begins, Dallas will become EVA Air’s second destination in Texas and its seventh in the U.S. Currently, the Taiwanese carrier offers daily flights from Taipei to its Star Alliance member hubs, Houston George Bush Intercontinental (IAH), as well as a daily service to both Chicago O’Hare (ORD) and New York (JFK).
In addition, the carrier offers three daily flights from Taipei to both Los Angeles (LAX) and San Francisco (SFO), along with ten weekly flights between Taipei and Seattle-Tacoma (SEA).
Rapidly Growing DFW
EVA Air is not the only Asian airline set to open a new route to Dallas in the coming months. This winter, Air India is scheduled to begin a nonstop service between DFW and New Delhi (DEL), as well as a new service between DEL and LAX. These two new routes will add to Air India’s growing U.S. network, which currently includes flights to JFK, ORD, SFO, Newark (EWR), and Washington Dulles (IAD).
Cathay Pacific will also inaugurate a new nonstop route between its Hong Kong (HKG) hub and DFW, the base of its U.S. partner, American Airlines, starting on April 24, 2025
And to accommodate this rapidly growing expansion, the airport operator has broken ground on a sixth passenger terminal, a project expected to cost $1.6 billion and open to the public in 2027.
The new Terminal F will have 15 gates and shopping and dining locations across 400,000 square feet. A new station will be added to DFW’s Skylink light rail system to connect the terminal to the rest of the airport.

With the addition of Taipei and Delhi, eleven destinations in the Asia-Pacific region will now have direct connections to DFW. The other nine destinations are:
- Auckland (AKL) operated by Qantas
- Brisbane (BNE) operated by American Airlines and Qantas
- Fiji (NAN) operated by American Airlines and Fiji Airways
- Hong Kong (HKG) operated by Cathay Pacific
