Emirates passengers will soon benefit from an enhanced onboard experience, as the Gulf carrier has introduced a variety of new improvements to its First Class service.
The airline has a longstanding reputation for providing exceptional in-flight services. By combining comfort and luxury, the airline has consistently delivered an award-winning travel experience, and it now aims to elevate its offerings even further.
The Gulf Carrier has unveiled a series of new enhancements for First Class passengers that will be introduced in the coming weeks, from new dining options and ‘white glove’ service to updated amenity kits and an upgraded check-in area at Dubai International Airport (DXB).
New Emirates Check-In Area
Beginning on the ground, Emirates First Class passengers will be welcomed at a newly refurbished check-in area at DXB’s Terminal 3. The new space has been designed to provide premium passengers a more exclusive and personalized check-in process, evoking the luxury of Emirates’ 43 world-class airport lounges.

First Class passengers will then enjoy refreshed private suites when stepping onboard, which the airline has described as a ‘hotel room in the sky.’
The suites will feature electronically-controlled privacy doors on certain aircraft, including the Airbus A380, with which passengers can adjust the temperature and lighting. Meanwhile, enhanced First Class suites on the airline’s Boeing 777 aircraft can be converted to ‘zero gravity’ mode, providing an added level of comfort for those hoping for some shuteye.
In-Flight Room Service
Other features that First Class passengers can expect in their privacy suites include a video call feature for ordering ‘room service,’ virtual windows for middle-row passengers, and bespoke binoculars for those with window seats.
Each suite will also come with refreshed loungeware and amenity kits, allowing passengers to pamper themselves and prepare for a good night’s sleep.

A wide range of items will be provided, including cotton-lined pillows, a faux sheep-skin blanket, and Hydra Active moisturizing pajamas that use microcapsule technology to gently release Vitamin C and olive oil to the skin. Exclusively-designed skincare products from luxury Swedish brand Byredo, along with Bulgari fragrances and lotions, will also be provided on select aircraft.
Upgraded Menu
Once settled into their flight, First Class passengers will be presented with an enhanced dining experience, including keepsake menus, white-glove service, and a new cheese selection.
The keepsake menus tell the story behind Emirates’ wine selections and dining options, including tasting profiles and suggested food pairings for each wine. Passengers can then order their food on demand, with an array of options on offer using locally sourced and seasonal ingredients, such as Wagyu sliders and lobster rolls.

Other additions to the in-flight dining experience include an enhanced cheeseboard selection that offers a range of artisan cheeses and chutneys presented on a rustic slate, while Emirates’ unlimited caviar offering can be enjoyed in new engraved bowls designed by Robert Welch.
These enhanced dining offerings will be complemented by white glove service, adding a touch of elegance rarely seen at 30,000 feet.
