Love is in the air for Emirates and British Airways passengers this month. The airlines have outlined Valentine’s Day offerings that will make the travel experience more enjoyable for couples all month long.

For the whole month of February, those traveling to and from Dubai on Emirates’ Airbus A380s and Boeing 777s can watch feel-good movies on ice, the airline’s inflight entertainment system. More than seventy romantic comedies and dramas will be available, including new releases Ticket to Paradise, starring Hollywood heartthrobs Julia Roberts and George Clooney; and Meet Cute, starring Kaley Cuoco and Pete Davidson.

Amidst a vast library of TV shows, passengers can choose from modern mini-series such as The Pursuit of Love, or period romance dramas like Emma and Sense and Sensibility.

Curated soundtracks on the airline’s IFE include the “Love Is in the Air” and “Romantic Moments” playlists, featuring love songs by Celine Dion, Whitney Houston, Ed Sheeran, Diana Ross, Roberta Flack, among others.

Passengers can browse and pre-select movies, TV shows, or playlists via the Emirates app before their flight, with the option to sync their selections with the IFE system upon boarding.

On Valentine’s Day, passengers in all classes will be treated to sumptuous brownies or red velvet cupcakes adorned with red and pink hearts in Emirates giftboxes, and red mood lighting will illuminate the aircraft.

From February 13 to 15, Emirates Lounges worldwide will also offer themed treats for guests including chocolate hearts, Valentine’s mud cake, and chocolate-covered strawberries.

In the Emirates Lounges at Dubai International Airport Terminal 3, First Class passengers will have the option to order velvety pistachio, strawberry cake, or succulent raspberry tonka fondant.

Business Class customers can treat their partners (or themselves) to a strawberry and yuzu Valentine’s tartlet or a fragrant hibiscus, strawberry, and almond mousse.

Both First and Business Class passengers can raise a glass with Moët Rosé Impérial Champagne, a romantic take on the signature Moët & Chandon style; or visit the airline’s old-fashioned ice cream cart to enjoy homemade strawberry cheesecake ice cream and raspberry and rose sorbet.

The complimentary Costa Coffee cafés in the lounges will also serve heart-shaped donuts.

Valentine’s Day Treats from British Airways

The culinary experts at British Airways have created a bespoke Valentine’s Day afternoon tea for First Class passengers. The menu includes a range of finger sandwiches, a chocolate-orange Battenberg, raspberry tart, and a chocolate love heart cookie.
