Air France has debuted new amenity kits for passengers in its La Première, Business, and Premium cabins on long-haul flights, with elegant and sustainable designs and luxurious products.
The new comfort kits are part of the airline’s most recent upgrades, which also include an exclusive collaboration with two of France’s most celebrated chefs. Beginning this December, the airline is introducing a prime seasonal menu for its La Première suites, crafted by the triple Michelin-starred chef Emmanuel Renaut and acclaimed pastry chef Claire Heitzler.
La Première Kits
In the exclusive La Première cabin, guests will find “gift boxes” so luxurious they were awarded Gold at this year’s TravelPlus Airline Amenity Awards.
Crafted from genuine leather, these boxes serve as both storage solutions and stylish accessories that travelers will want to carry off the plane and reuse.
The boxes come in red and pearl grey, the signature colors of the La Première cabin. Each is embossed with a hippocampe ailé, or winged seahorse, a symbol of Air France since its launch in the 1930s.
Inside are four products from French skincare brand Sisley, each drawing on the properties of plants to pamper travelers, an art Sisley calls “phyto-cosmetology.”
To fend off dry airplane air, travelers can use the restorative, hydrating hand cream and the “intense” Hydra-Global hydration booster moisturizing serum. An eye contour balm and All Day, All Year anti-age day cream will leave them looking refreshed when they arrive at their destinations.
The box is finished with a wooden comb, earplugs, a night mask, and a pen.
Business Class Kits
The amenity kits in Business class have also received a makeover. These zippered pouches are made of 90 percent recycled material. They come in two colors: navy blue and white; a touch of red at the zipper aligns them with Air France’s signature hues and the tri-colored flag pattern.
The pouches have been filled with two travel-size beauty products from French cosmetics company Clarins: a Beauty Flash Balm and a Moisturizing and Quenching Matte Gel.
The business class kits are also environmentally conscious. The night mask and socks are entirely made from recycled material, the toothbrush is bamboo, and the toothpaste is organic and made in France. A pair of earplugs and a pen complete the kit.
Premium Economy Kits
Air France will also pamper passengers in its premium economy cabins, rebranded “Premium” in September.
These sleek zippered pouches are made of 90 percent recycled material. They come in Air France blue and horizon blue and are embroidered with the airline’s brand symbol. Again, a touch of red at the zipper conjures Air France’s signature palette and that of the French Republic.
Each kit has earplugs, a toothbrush and tube of toothpaste, socks made from recycled material, and a night mask.
Thoughtfully designed and curated, these chic amenity kits will delight and comfort premium Air France travelers during their journeys.
