Air France is redefining the in-flight experience by blending haute cuisine, luxury mixology, and curated French design. From new La Première and Business Class menus crafted by culinary luminaries to an exclusive line of Riviera-chic travel accessories, the airline is leaning into its French heritage to offer passengers a richer, more refined journey.

Michelin-Starred Menus

The French flag carrier has unveiled a powerful culinary duo for its premium cabins departing the United States. Beginning July 2025, Michelin-starred New York–based chef Daniel Boulud joins forces with San Francisco’s Dominique Crenn—who has held a triple Michelin star rating since 2018—to craft exclusive in-flight menus for La Première and Business Class travelers.

“We’ve designed simple and tasty dishes with traditional French roots, tinged with contemporary notes,” Boulud said of his new offerings. For La Première, travelers can expect dishes such as Chicken with Saffron, Turnips, Pumpkin, and Green Olive Semolina. In Business, Braised Lamb Shoulder with Root Vegetables leads the seasonal lineup.

Dominique Crenn, who began her partnership with Air France in 2024, continues to spotlight inventive vegetarian and fish dishes that push culinary boundaries.

Examples include a lobster dish with pico de gallo and tea sauce, and a root vegetable mille-feuille with truffle sauce in La Première.

Her Business Class creations include cod with quinoa and marinière sauce, and open ravioli with courgette, tomato, hazelnut, and parmesan sauce.

Both chefs work exclusively with fresh, local ingredients and seasonal produce. And in keeping with Air France’s sustainability commitments, Business Class customers can pre-select their main dish up to 24 hours before departure, minimizing waste and maximizing availability.

Sweet Finales by a French Master

Rounding out the fine dining experience, passengers now enjoy desserts from renowned pastry chef Laurent Le Daniel, holder of the Meilleur Ouvrier de France title.

In La Première, the “Cœur de Bretagne” blends salted butter caramel, milk chocolate, and a hazelnut biscuit for a quintessentially Breton treat. Meanwhile, Business Class travelers can indulge in a modern twist on lemon tart—the Lemon Delight.

“These creations are truly sensory experiences,” said Le Daniel. “They reflect the quality, creativity, and finesse that define French pastry.”

These exclusive desserts, the airline confirms, are now available on all U.S. and Canadian departures.

Signature Cocktails by Matthias Giroud

The culinary revamp isn’t confined to food alone. In La Première, Air France has launched a collection of signature cocktails designed by celebrated mixologist Matthias Giroud.

Drawing inspiration from the airline’s core values—elegance, pleasure, and French savoir-faire—Giroud has crafted three drinks that balance classic techniques with unexpected twists.

According to the airline, passengers can now enjoy these cocktails in newly designed glasses that enhance aroma and texture, heightening the tasting experience. Presented in a sleek, custom-made box, each drink tells its own story.

There’s “Belle Époque,” a bold, bitter nod to the Negroni infused with orange hydrosol; “Parfum de France,” a low-alcohol, wine-inspired cocktail blending raspberry liqueur with Chardonnay and verbena; and “L’Éveil,” an alcohol-free mélange of cranberry, mint, lime, ginger, and herbal aromatics—spicy, tangy, and refreshingly modern.

“It’s an honour for me to have been chosen to create this first exclusive collection of La Première signature cocktails,” said Giroud. “Air France embodies the excellence of French expertise and elegance, taking gastronomy to the four corners of the world.”

These cocktails complement the cabin’s already exalted menu, developed by Arnaud Lallement and Angelo Musa, with a wine and spirits program overseen by award-winning sommelier Xavier Thuizat.

A Stylish Nod to the Riviera

For travelers looking to extend their Air France experience beyond the airport, the airline has introduced “La Croisette,” a new line of travel bags and accessories that capture the spirit of the French Riviera.

Named after the iconic promenade in Cannes, the collection reflects the same qualities the airline brings to its premium cabins: functional elegance, timeless design, and French craftsmanship.

Crafted from recycled cotton with subtle leather details, each piece—from the oversized beach bag to the structured laptop case—is designed to suit the modern traveler’s needs without compromising on style.

The collection’s understated palette and clean lines evoke the relaxed glamour of the Côte d’Azur, whether you’re heading to the coast or catching a red-eye to a boardroom.

As an official partner of the Cannes Film Festival, Air France continues to pay tribute to French cinematic heritage and seaside luxury with this collection, now available online and at Galeries Lafayette in Paris.

These latest moves reflect Air France’s broader strategy to compete at the highest end of the international travel market. By investing in fine dining, signature cocktails, and upscale design—both onboard and off—the airline is appealing to a global clientele that expects more than just a seat in the sky.
