Wellness Gets a Boost at Grand Resort Bad Ragaz, Switzerland

A new partnership with Clinics of Valens creates total renewal and recovery programs for those who want to use their wellness time … well

Starting in January, Grand Resort Bad Ragaz, Europe’s legendary wellbeing and medical health resort, is partnering with the Clinics of Valens, one of Switzerland’s top rehabilitation clinics, to create a world-first: the very best clinical competence in neurological, internal-oncological and musculoskeletal rehabilitation, set in a luxurious five-star resort in the Swiss Alps.

Clinic Bad Ragaz offers specialized medical services and integrates the resort’s own thermal waters featuring healing properties that not only form the foundations of the Grand Resort Bad Ragaz, but are also part of many of the therapeutic treatments. Meanwhile the renowned Clinics of Valens bring top clinical services and successful rehabilitation programs.

Half a century ago, the thermal water became the foundation of the Valens Rehabilitation Center, and since then, the healing properties of the thermal water have been combined with state-of-the-art, evidence-based medicine and up to date technology for effective rehabilitation.

The resort offers dazzling Spa Suites with private saunas and mineral water on tap, plus a 65,000 square foot spa with a Swarovski crystal steam room, a refurbished medical center (with more than 100 staff, including specialist doctors and consultants), and the public Tamina Therme (a natural thermal bath).

summer, the resort’s Grand Hotel Quellenhof reopened following an extensive refurbishment just in time for the hotel’s 150th anniversary. Maintaining the property’s history and grandeur, the five-star hotel has consolidated its place on the Swiss fine-dining scene, having proudly opened two new innovative restaurants and bars, as well as ultra-luxurious accommodation and head-turning interior design throughout.

Nightly rates at Grand Resort Bad Ragaz start from $500 per night, based on double occupancy. Rates include breakfast, welcome aperitif, use of the Thermal Spa area and Tamina Therme, fresh fruit and Ragaz water each day, and daily fitness and relaxation lessons. Inclusive of VAT.
