Priority Pass and China Southern Partner

The agreement gives members access to over 40 first and business class lounges across China

August 8, 2021

Priority Pass has partnered with China Southern Airlines to give Priority Pass members access to over 40 new lounges across China. The strategic partnership agreement gives members access “to the full network of over 40 lounges managed and operated by China Southern across China.”

The lounge provider said the portfolio includes first and business class lounges “that were previously only accessible by the airline’s first class and business class passengers, and China Southern Platinum Card members.”

Earlier this year Priority Pass announced plans to add over 150 airport lounges in 2021. This despite losing around 60 lounges when its contract with Plaza Premium ended in July. Some of the lounges added so far this include Lufthansa’s business lounges at New York JFK, Newark and Washington Dulles, and new locations in Russia, Turkey, Egypt, and India.

“We’re delighted to announce our new partnership with China Southern Airlines; which results in Priority Pass members gaining access to some of the best quality airline lounges in China, located in cities such as Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Chongqing,” said Todd Handcock, president, Asia Pacific for Priority Pass owner Collinson.
