Allegiant Air Announces Network Expansion

Low cost carrier 2021 schedule will add two new cities boost service with 15 new nonstop routes

December 4, 2020

Las Vegas-based Allegiant Air is following up on its aggressive expansion earlier in 2020 with a 2021 schedule that adds two new cities to its network – Santa Ana, CA, and Spokane, WA.

The new cities served from Santa Ana’s John Wayne Airport (SNA) include Boise, ID, Grand Junction, CO, Medford, OR and Provo, UT, all starting Feb. 12. Beginning Feb. 18, SNA will see connections to Las Vegas and Reno, plus Missoula, MT, and Spokane.

From its home base at Las Vegas McCarran International Airport, the airline will add service to Spokane, beginning Feb. 11. Also on Feb 11, the airline will start operations between St. Petersburg, FL, and Fargo, ND, and between Houston’s Hobby Airport and the Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport in Arizona.

From LAS, the airline will add connections to Asheville, NC, and Flint, MI, both starting March 4. Two new services commencing March 5 will connect Grand Rapids, MI, to Newark Liberty International Airport and to Destin-Fort Walton Beach, FL.

“We’re excited to offer travelers another gateway into Southern California, as well as into the Pacific Northwest in 2021,” said Drew Wells, Allegiant vice president of planning and revenue. “We are continuing to expand Allegiant’s network to provide customers with even more convenient, nonstop options for any travel occasion.”
