SAS Resumes More Flights to the US, Europe and Asia

The airline also announces the addition of 18 routes “to key European markets and capitals”

August 30, 2020

SAS has announced it will resume service from Copenhagen to Washington, DC, and increase its Copenhagen-New York frequency to daily. In addition at the end of September, the airline is restarting its weekly flights between Copenhagen and Shanghai.

The Scandinavian carrier says it is adding 18 routes “to key European markets and capitals,” including Copenhagen to Paris, Stockholm to Frankfurt, and Oslo to Brussels.

The airline’s domestic services will cover “almost” its entire Swedish, Norwegian and Danish networks when it resumes flights from Stavanger to Trondheim and from Stockholm to Ronneby and Sundsvall.

In response to the pandemic-related slowdown in air travel, SAS is continuing its flexible booking policy and cancellation policies, including the option to exchange tickets for all international travel for a SAS Travel Voucher (valid for 12 months from the date of issue), up to 16 days prior to departure and for travel up until Jan. 15, 2021.
