Brightline, the country’s only privately owned intercity rail service, is again breaking new ground—this time with loyalty. The company has launched Brightline Rewards, its first-ever customer rewards program, offering what it calls a simple, digital-first approach to earning and redeeming points.

Built on Antavo’s AI-powered Loyalty Cloud, the train company promises to make loyalty fast, flexible, and frictionless—mirroring the experience it has brought to rail travel itself.

“For too long, loyalty programs in travel have been complicated, full of blackout dates and point expirations,” said Patrick Goddard, CEO of Brightline Florida. “With Brightline Rewards, we’ve stripped all that away. Every rider can benefit from their very first trip—and we’re only getting started.”

Loyalty Built for Today’s Travelers

Brightline’s expansion across Florida—from Miami and Orlando to West Palm Beach, Boca Raton, Aventura, and Fort Lauderdale—has already reshaped the way travelers move through the state. With future service between Las Vegas and Southern California on the horizon, the company is taking a proactive step into the booming $800 billion U.S. tourism market by launching a loyalty strategy designed for scale, speed, and clarity.

Rather than overwhelming customers with tiers or restrictions, Brightline says its rewards scheme offers immediate access to points, which post after each completed trip. Also, there’s no minimum required for redemptions, and members can start using points on their very next booking.

Digital-First, But Built for Human Impact

Brightline Rewards is integrated with Antavo’s Wallet module, allowing members to manage their rewards via a digital member card. The backend infrastructure provides real-time integration, personalized earning rules, and room for future customization as Brightline’s network grows.

“We are more than excited to work with Brightline,” said Attila Kecsmar, CEO and Co-founder of Antavo. “Their forward-thinking, environmentally conscious approach to travel aligns perfectly with our view of loyalty: that the quality of the journey matters just as much as the destination.”

Brightline’s Exclusive Perks

Brightline Rewards offers a variety of enticing features designed to enhance your travel experience. One of the standout benefits is the absence of redemption minimums, allowing users to utilize earned points immediately after completing their first journey. Furthermore, the program ensures instant point posting, meaning that points are available for use as soon as the trip concludes, providing immediate gratification.

Users can earn points on all aspects of their travel, which include upgrades to premium services, additional amenities, and even parking fees at Brightline stations. This comprehensive earning potential means that every dollar spent can lead to future rewards.

Members receive a digital member card enhanced by Antavo’s cutting-edge loyalty technology, making it convenient to access and user-friendly. Additionally, the points you accumulate remain valid for 12 months from the date each point is earned, giving you ample time to enjoy your rewards.

According to the rail company, Brightline Rewards transforms every journey into an opportunity to unlock exclusive perks and benefits—without the hassle of waiting to accumulate enough points to redeem them.

Triple Points Through June 2025

To mark the debut, Brightline is offering a limited-time triple-points promotion: members earn 15 points per $1 spent on qualifying purchases for rides booked and taken by June 3, 2025. Points can also be earned on parking, checked bags, seat upgrades, and multi-ride packs. Travelers earn even more on journeys to or from Orlando.

“Every detail of this program was designed around the traveler,” Goddard said. “Whether you’re commuting weekly or visiting family, we want our loyalty experience to reflect how easy and enjoyable train travel can be.”

Air + Rail: New Airline Partnership

Brightline is also expanding how travelers connect through Florida by announcing a first-of-its-kind codeshare-style partnership with Canada’s Porter Airlines.

Through an initiative facilitated by VISIT FLORIDA, guests who book flights on Porter Airlines can now enjoy 50 percent off adult SMART fares on select Brightline trains between South Florida and Orlando.

“Florida is a favorite destination for travelers from Canada, particularly beginning in December as many winter residents make their way to Central and South Florida to escape the cold,” said Travis Christ, Chief Commercial Officer at Brightline. “We welcome this partnership with Porter Airlines and VISIT FLORIDA to easily connect across Central and South Florida this season.”

The partnership comes as Porter expands service to the Sunshine State, offering up to 126 weekly departures from Toronto, Montreal, Ottawa, and Halifax to four Florida destinations—all served by Brightline stations: Orlando (MCO), Fort Lauderdale (FLL), West Palm Beach (PBI), and Miami (MIA).

“Florida is a popular destination for our passengers, and this partnership makes it even easier for them to explore the Sunshine State,” said Edmond Eldebs, Senior Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer of Porter Airlines. “Our direct flights, combined with Brightline’s connectivity, provide the opportunity for travelers to easily enjoy multiple regions of the state by arriving at one airport and departing from another.”

Brightline’s Orlando station—which opened in September 2023—serves as a crucial link between Florida’s cruise ports and airport hubs. Riders can move with ease between Port Miami, Port Everglades, Port Canaveral, and airport stations, with convenient downtown access in every city along the route.

“Canada has long been one of Florida’s most significant international markets, and we are thrilled to hear the news of this unique initiative between Brightline and Porter Airlines,” added Dana Young, President and CEO of VISIT FLORIDA. “By combining effortless air travel with state-of-the-art rail connectivity, we’re ensuring that Canadian visitors can explore everything our state has to offer with unparalleled convenience and comfort.”

To support this growing international demand, Brightline has also doubled its Airport Connector Shuttles in Miami and Fort Lauderdale, with rides now departing every 15 minutes. Shuttles cost $10 for the first guest and $5 for each additional rider in the same party, and are available to walk-up guests with same-day train tickets. Shuttles depart 10 minutes after each train’s arrival.
