Goodstone Inn

36205 Snake Hill Road, Middleburg, Virginia

Experience the enchanting Goodstone Inn, a 265-acre estate minutes from Middleburg and Loudoun County’s many wineries. With 18 elegantly decorated guest rooms and suites across six historic cottages restored in English and French Country décor, the charming lodging has many options. The largest and most historic lodging at the Inn, the Manor House, is a spacious and luxurious retreat overlooking the property, with four guest rooms (2 king beds, 2 queen), numerous seating areas, a spacious kitchen, a formal dining room and a sunroom. The Bull Barn, also known as the Honeymoon Suite, is the most private cottage at Goodstone. This romantic space offers one king bed with a living room, wet bar, and dining area.

Impressive culinary offerings are found at the Inn’s signature restaurant, The Conservatory, as well as the new Bistro. Each offers an extensive wine list and locavore menus highlighting the fresh ingredients from the on-property farm. The elegant 12-seat wine cellar makes for a nonpareil private dining experience. Goodstone’s fully operative farm with cows, chickens, beehives, and even a llama, provides high-quality produce for their award-winning culinary program. The gardening team meets regularly with the chef to coordinate planting needs designed around seasonal rotation and the farm- to-table culinary program. A variety of seasonal fruits and vegetables are grown in the gardens, orchards, and greenhouses while focusing on sustainable agricultural practices. (In 2022, Goodstone made the decision to eliminate plastic water bottles from its property and implemented Vivreau, a reusable bottle system.) At the countryside resort guests are welcomed to enjoy all the land has to offer including hiking, biking, and canoeing. Or if you prefer to stay closer to the inn, you can spend a day lounging poolside with a drink in hand.
