United Adds New International Routes to its San Francisco Hub

United will make its largest-ever international route expansion out of San Francisco International Airport (SFO), adding nonstop service to New Delhi, Toronto, and Melbourne.

United also said it will launch year-round service to Amsterdam, Auckland and Tahiti in 2019. The carrier will launch seasonal service to New Delhi next Dec. 5; nonstop, year-round, three-times-weekly service to Melbourne will begin Oct. 29; and twice-daily service to Toronto begins March 31.

Also, the following year-round flights are scheduled to start March 30:  three-times-weekly service to Auckland; three-times-weekly service to Pape’ete, Tahiti; and daily nonstop service to Amsterdam. The Bay Area’s dominant carrier is also adding a second, four-times-weekly flight to Seoul, bringing that route to 11 flights weekly.
