Hyatt Premieres JDV Hotels Brand in Europe
The addition of three boutique hotels in Sweden continues the group’s expansion of lifestyle properties in Europe
Hyatt Hotels Corporation has announced that a Hyatt affiliate has entered into franchise agreements with Story Hotels Holding AB to take three Swedish hotels into the JDV Hotel brand.
The three hotels Story Hotel Riddargatan and Story Hotel Signalfabriken in Stockholm, as well as Story Hotel Studio Malmö, Sweden – will retain their individual hotel names. The boutique hotels, all in city centers, extend the reach of Hyatt’s independent collection brand into Europe.
All the hotels feature modern Scandinavian design and complimentary access to local gyms. The three hotels will be available for reservation through Hyatt’s booking channels and for World of Hyatt members to earn and redeem points for stays starting April 1.
The addition of the Story hotels increases the number of Hyatt hotels in Sweden to four, following the 2020 opening of Stockholm’s Hotell Reisen.
Hyatt is targeting over 30 percent growth in Europe with the emphasis on lifestyle brands like JDV Hotels. (JDVhotels.com)
