First YotelPad to Open in Park City
Located in Canyons Village, the property offers 144 studio to three-bedroom “pads” (condominium units)

Yotel has set a November opening for the global premiere of its YotelPad concept in Park City, UT. The a UK-based hotel brand touts efficient use of small spaces with luxury and high-tech amenities, and design that promotes a sense of community.
The property offers 144 studio to three-bedroom “pads” (condominium units) for sale, which can be available for travelers when owners are not using them. Located in Canyons Village, the YotelPad is within walking distance of the Red Pine Gondola and Orange Bubble Express chair lift, a five-minute drive to Park City’s historic downtown, and a half-hour from Salt Lake City International Airport.
“Yotel saw an opportunity to bring innovation and luxury living at an affordable price to ski resort towns,” said Sahrette Saayman, the company’s vice president of communications, noting that nightly rates start at $339 in winter and $149 in summer.
Among the luxury amenities are heated towel racks, quartz countertops and frameless glass showers. High-tech perks include “techno walls” with large-screen smart TVs and plenty of electrical outlets and USB ports. In addition, high-speed WiFi is available on as many devices as the guest wants. There’s also an app that acts as a digital room key and can be used for booking and checking in, among other functions.
Public areas, such as the Komyuniti social space, are designed to be multifunctional, allowing guests to use them for work, socializing and relaxing. In all, YotelPad Park City offers 10,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor social spaces, including by the pool, around a fireplace, and in the games room.
Additional amenities include a private car, ski valet, ski storage, gym (temporarily closed), hot tub, grab-and-go food and beverage outlet, and shared self-service laundry facilities. (Three-bedroom units have their own washers and dryers.)
Yotel partnered with Replay Destinations, a Vancouver, Canada-based real estate development company, to develop the Park City property, which is managed by The Woodlands, Texas-based Benchmark Global Hospitality.
It is the first YotelPad to open globally. Three others are scheduled to open in 2021 in Switzerland’s Lake Geneva district, Dubai and downtown Miami.
At press time, 75 percent of the units have been sold, but guests can book units that are sold and unsold.
