South African Airways and Alaska Airlines have announced a new interline partnership, which provides new flight options for customers of both airlines traveling between North America and Africa. Customers will be able to purchase one single electronic ticket with through interline baggage transfer upon check-in with either SAA or Alaska Airlines in the US or Africa.
Flights of both carriers connect via New York-John F. Kennedy International Airport and Washington-Dulles International Airport joining Alaska Airlines’ North American network including Seattle, Los Angeles, San Francisco and Portland, and over 75 destinations in Africa served by SAA and its regional partners.
