IHG Opens Quito Airport Holiday Inn
The 125-room property is the group’s second in Ecuador’s capital city
IHG Hotels and Resorts has announced the opening of the Holiday Inn Quito Airport in the Ecuadorian capital of Quito. The 125-room property is located a ten-minute drive from Quito Mariscal Sucre International airport and around 30 minutes from the north of the city.
The hotel features all day dining at the Capital Restaurant and La Barra lobby bar, plus meeting and events space for up to 180 guests. An executive lounge with views of the Andes is set to open August 15, and the property offers a heated outdoor swimming pool, fitness center and business center.
Spa facilities are set to open in December, and will include a Turkish bath and massage rooms. The hotel also offers a free shuttle service to and from the airport.
The property is the second for IHG in the city, joining the existing Holiday Inn Express Quito, located on Orellana Avenue, in the city’s financial and commercial district.
