Hilton Appointed Chief Cookie Officer (CCO) And Releases New Book

Hilton creates a new job– Chief Cookie Officer (CCO) –affiliated with the DoubleTree by Hilton brand – beloved for it’s fresh chocolate chip cookies.

While many candidates applied for the job, Chef Roger Maune holds was given the title of CCO and shares a little bit about his new role in the video.

Chef Maune is also the executive chef at DoubleTree by Hilton San Jose and is a 30-year veteran in the field. He’s passionate about his job and his community and excited to share the new Cook(ie) Book – “Start With Cook” available online at StartWithCookies.com.

When asked what his favorite recipe in the cookbook is this year he admits that he’s “partial to my own recipe – the DoubleTree Cookie Pancakes – but the DoubleTree Cookie-Coated Chicken Fingers recipe, which uses a Cookie and breadcrumb coating, is also delicious. This is a sweet and savory recipe that is a total crowd pleaser. “
