Ethiopian Announces Route to LAX
Ethiopian Airlines announces a new ultra-long haul route from Addis Ababa to Los Angeles transiting through Lome, Togo.
The carrier will operate their Boeing 787 Dreamliner and launch on December 17, 2108.
Mr. Tewolde GebreMariam, Group CEO of Ethiopian Airlines stated:
“We are delighted to launch yet another long-haul direct flight which takes passengers’ experience to a new level by availing connectivity between West Africa and the West Coast of the USA.”
Ethiopian is a Star Alliance member.
GebreMariam goes onto say, “In line with our growth roadmap, Vision 2025, we will keep expanding our vast international network, and create better air connectivity options within Africa as well as between Africa and the rest of the world.”
The airline will also add a new route planned from Dublin to Addis Ababa via Madrid beginning December 16, 2018.
