When disasters strike, these organizations step in. The wildfires in California have caused devastation in the region and over 250,000 residence are in emergency shelters set up by the Red Cross.
The airline has set up a microsite for employees and customers to give back directly to the area impacted.
Tad Hutcheson, Managing Director – Community Engagement states:
“Supporting the American Red Cross allows Delta and our employees and customers to help those who are affected by crisis immediately. As a global airline, we are committed to investing in our local communities, lending a helping hand when it’s needed the most, and partnering with organizations who are involved with disaster relief year round.”
Delta customers are asked to donate directly to the disaster relief of the California wildfires at http://redcross.org/delta-pub.
