China Airlines is 1-of-2 Airlines Worldwide Carrying Prestigious ISO Certificates

China Airlines has completed three ISO certifications for 2018. The compliance is focused on three key areas –  ISO 14001 (Environmental Management Systems, ISO 50001 (Energy Management System) and ISO 1406401 (Greenhouse Gas Emissions).

The International Organization for Standardization (ISO) is based in Switzerland and creates voluntary international standards for corporations across the globe.  The organization is best known for its quality control standards known as ISO 9000.  

The ISO compliance received by China Airlines in the Greenhouse Gas Emissions spectrum (ISO 1406401) is critical in reducing carbon emissions which is known to impact climate change.

China Airlines is one of two airlines to hold both ISO 14001 and ISO 50001 system certifications at the same time.
