The future of business travel is on the agenda this month as the Global Business Travel Association (GBTA) brings its annual convention to Denver. Running July 21 to 23 at the Colorado Convention Center, the GBTA Convention 2025 will unite thousands of travel professionals to explore what’s next for a $1.48 trillion global industry.

With more than 8,500 members and a global network of 28,000 professionals, GBTA is the world’s leading trade association for business travel and meetings. This year’s convention features a sharp focus on education, strategy, and innovation in the face of rapid change.

Key sessions include Advanced Principles of Business Travel Management, Designing Solutions for Diverse Travelers, Aviation Headwinds for 2025 (which focuses on workforce, sustainability, and supply chain issues), and Intrapreneurial Mindset, recognized as the new superpower for travel managers. Additionally, there will be a discussion on Travel Agents vs. AI, exploring a collaborative approach to customer service.

Main Stage Lineup

The main stage lineup features bold perspectives on leadership and transformation, starting with John Amaechi, psychologist and founder of APS Intelligence, who opens the event with his talk titled “The Promises of Giants—Leadership at its Finest.”

Following him, Jeremy Gutsche, CEO of Trend Hunter, delivers a presentation called “Create the Future—How to Innovate in Times of Chaos, AI & Change.”

Closing the lineup is strategist Heather E. McGowan, who presents her insights in “Learning: The Real Future of Work.”

From adapting to artificial intelligence to creating more inclusive travel programs, the GBTA Convention 2025 will offer clarity, connection and actionable knowledge. For anyone invested in the future of business travel, Denver will be the place to learn, lead and shape what comes next.
