For frequent flyers who treat time in the air as an extension of their workday—or the rare chance to rest between meetings—Delta’s latest refresh of its premium Delta One experience may offer just the right kind of return on investment.

This summer, Delta and Italian fashion house Missoni are deepening their collaboration with an upgraded collection of bedding, amenity kits, and inflight accessories, all designed to improve sleep and add comfort without compromising function or efficiency.

“In travel, every moment matters—not just where you’re going, but how you get there,” said Mauricio Parise, Delta’s Vice President of Brand Experience Design. “We want you to savor your time in the air, which is why we are intentional about each detail of the customer experience… Our new Missoni collection will help you arrive at your destination feeling refreshed and ready for the journey ahead.”

Missoni’s Touch

At the heart of the refresh is the new Delta One bedding set, which will feature a Missoni-designed duvet and sleeping pillow showcasing the fashion house’s signature zigzag pattern in understated navy and white. The line also introduces an expanded mattress pad that doubles as a lumbar pillow on all Delta One flights—a feature once reserved only for ultra-long hauls.

And for flights over 12 hours, Delta will debut a new memory foam cuddle pillow to further enhance passengers’ sleep experience, adding a layer of comfort rarely seen in commercial aviation.

“We know nothing compares to sleeping in the comfort of your own bed,” said Parise. “However, when we set out to re-think the in-flight sleep experience, we focused on offering customers the same luxurious sleep experience you might get in a high-end hotel.”

Missoni’s distinctive aesthetic extends beyond the bedding. New Missoni-branded slippers in navy will be introduced later this year, adding another cozy touch to the Delta One cabin.

Amenity Kits Reimagined

Delta and Missoni have also unveiled an entirely refreshed Delta One amenity kit, set to launch in fall 2025. These collectible pouches—available in blue or cream—are adorned with Missoni’s textured zigzag pattern and feature gold hardware, echoing both the elegance of the sky and the heritage of Delta’s nearly 100-year history.

Inside each bag, passengers will find a lightweight Missoni eye mask and coordinated zigzag socks, a Delta One-branded pen with metal accents, Grown Alchemist skincare products in sleek aluminum tubes, a bamboo toothbrush, Marvis toothpaste, and earplugs.

“In crafting the next generation of our amenity kit, we embraced our signature artistry, blending patterns, textures and hues to create a kit that’s distinct, enduring, and designed to suit your lifestyle beyond your time on the plane,” said Missoni Creative Director Alberto Caliri.

According to Delta, the enhancements aren’t just about aesthetics. They’re grounded in customer feedback and performance testing. Delta’s product team studied sleep quality, cabin environment, and customer preferences to refine every component of the new offering.

“Customer feedback guides every decision we make,” said Parise. “Through our research, we know that sleep is our customers’ top priority when it comes to the onboard experience, and being able to provide a great night’s sleep at 35,000 feet is our North Star.”

One Year In—and a Look Ahead

This expansion marks nearly a year since Delta and Missoni first debuted their collaboration on select flights between the U.S., Italy, and Paris in summer 2024.

Since then, the partnership has grown into a cornerstone of Delta’s luxury branding in the air and on the ground, including at the new Delta One Lounge at JFK, which incorporated Missoni design elements.

“The Missoni amenity kits have been meticulously designed, embodying a timeless declaration of elegance and a profound connection with the surrounding world,” said Caliri. “Additionally, customizing the Delta One Lounge at JFK signifies an important new frontier for our lifestyle approach.”

As Delta celebrates its centennial year, these updates reflect the airline’s continuing investment in premium customer experience and a thoughtful evolution of its brand identity.

Premium Service, Personalized Style

Delta One continues to be one of the most exclusive premium cabin experiences available in the North American market, featuring lie-flat seats with direct aisle access, complimentary access to the Sky Club, and Sky Priority services. Passengers can also enjoy enhanced bedding and high-design amenities.

As American Airlines and United introduce their competitive upgrades—with American’s Flagship Suite launching in June and United’s new Polaris Studio expected to launch by the end of the year—Delta seems well-positioned to maintain its competitive edge in the market.

“We’ve been intentional about creating a Delta One experience—both on the ground and in the air—that feels truly premium and elevated,” Parise added. “Missoni’s elegance and prestige aligns perfectly with that vision.”

With artful design, luxurious materials, and curated comfort, the new Missoni collection ensures Delta One travelers won’t just fly—they’ll arrive, rested and redefined.
