Chase is expanding its network of premium airport lounges with the grand opening of the Chase Sapphire Lounge by The Club at Philadelphia International Airport (PHL) on February 20.

Located post-security in the connector between Terminals D and E, the new 20,000-square-foot space offers an array of high-end amenities designed to provide travelers with comfort, entertainment, and a taste of Philadelphia’s rich culture.

“Philadelphia, a city renowned for its rich history, artistic flair, and strong sense of community, is now home to a lounge that reflects these very qualities,” said Dana Pouwels, Head of Airport Lounge Benefits at Chase.

“Our new lounge is an embodiment of Philadelphia’s unique character, offering standout amenities like a beer garden and game room. Designed with our guests in mind, the space provides the perfect environment for travelers to unwind, work or indulge, ensuring a comfortable and memorable experience for all.”

A Taste of Philadelphia

One of the standout features of the new lounge is its beer garden, which offers an elevated take on the traditional experience.

Paying tribute to the city’s storied brewing history, the beer garden boasts an exceptional selection of local craft beers on tap, alongside a Philadelphia-inspired menu featuring cheesesteak sliders and potato pancakes.

Guests can also enjoy curated dishes from Middle Child Clubhouse, a Philadelphia restaurant known for its modern interpretations of classic local sandwiches.

Complementing the food offerings are locally roasted coffee from Elixr Coffee and an extensive selection of soft drinks, signature cocktails, and expertly curated wines from Parcelle.

The ambiance is enriched by a mural from James Burns of Mural Arts Philadelphia, the nation’s largest public art program. His artwork visually represents the hidden pathways and portals of the city, adding a distinctive local touch to the space.

Wellness and Entertainment

The Chase Sapphire Lounge at Philadelphia International Airport (PHL) provides more than just excellent food and drinks. According to Airport Dimensions, the new lounge is designed to accommodate all types of travelers.

Guests seeking relaxation can reserve private rest pods, freshen up with showers, or indulge in rejuvenating facial treatments from Face Haus.

The lounge also features exclusive on-demand digital self-guided meditations led by Master Well-Being Educator & Healer Devi Brown.

For entertainment, guests can step into the vibrant game room, equipped with retro arcade machines and a multi-screen wall with six TVs—ideal for gaming or catching up on sports.

Families are also well accommodated with a dedicated family room and play area, as well as a private nursing room.

Expanding the Chase Sapphire Lounge Network

The inauguration of the PHL lounge marks an exciting chapter in Chase’s ambitious expansion of its Sapphire Lounge network..

In December, travelers departing from the bustling terminals of Phoenix Sky Harbor (PHX) and San Diego (SAN) were delighted by the debut of two new Chase Sapphire lounges, each offering an elegant retreat from the airport’s hustle and bustle.

The stunning new lounge in San Diego showcases the Sapphire network’s signature blend of chic, contemporary design and an indulgent culinary menu, all infused with a refreshing beachy Californian vibe. This space not only invites relaxation but also elevates the travel experience through its stylish aesthetics and gourmet offerings.

Following the launch of the PHL opening, new locations are planned at Harry Reid International Airport in Las Vegas (LAS) and Los Angeles International Airport (LAX), joining existing U.S. lounges at New York LaGuardia (LGA) and John F. Kennedy (JFK) airports, as well as Boston Logan International Airport (BOS).

Beyond these dedicated spaces, Chase Sapphire Reserve cardmembers also enjoy access to more than 1,300 Priority Pass lounges worldwide, select Air Canada Maple Leaf Lounges, and Air Canada Cafés when flying a Star Alliance carrier.

With this latest opening, Chase continues to enhance its airport lounge offerings, providing premium travel experiences that combine local culture, comfort, and top-tier amenities.

Whether travelers are looking to work, relax, or enjoy a uniquely Philadelphia experience before their flight, the Chase Sapphire Lounge at PHL is set to deliver an inviting and well-appointed retreat.
