This month Miami’s World Travel Expo will bring together decision-makers from airlines, airports, tourism bureaus, tour operators and travel agencies. The event aims to promote the aviation and tourism industries, featuring seminars, panels and workshops with more than 40 experts from around the world. More than 3,000 global tourism professionals are expected to attend or connect through the event’s app. Miami-Dade County Mayor Daniella Levine Cava said, “In addition to raising awareness about the diverse travel benefits that Miami International Airport and Miami-Dade County have to offer, the WTE will also assist our industry partners and network destinations with promoting the ongoing return of visitors. The Miami travel market continues to see impressive passenger growth this year, with MIA now the fastest-growing U.S. airport compared to 2019, and we hope to spur additional growth by hosting networking events like this.” American Airlines, Miami International Airport, the International Air Transport Association (IATA) and Miami-Dade County are among the event’s sponsors, with keynotes from industry leaders such as IATA regional vice president Peter Cerdá and American Airlines CEO Robert Isom. The World Travel Expo is a must-attend event for anyone in the travel industry looking to learn from experts.
