Singapore Airlines Boosts August Schedule
Airline announces additional frequencies to London, Osaka and Manila; capacity still only about 7 percent of pre-pandemic levels
Singapore Airlines and its regional subsidiary SilkAir have released their August schedules, showing an increase in the number of flights on some of their existing routes. Passenger capacity in August will be approximately 7 percent of its pre-COVID-19 levels – up from 6 percent in July, according to the group.
Among the routes that will see more flights in August are Singapore – London Heathrow, Singapore – Osaka and Singapore – Manila. The carrier is currently flying to several cities across five regions – the United States, Europe, Southeast Asia, North Asia, and the Southwest Pacific.

The airline notes that some destinations continue to have travel restrictions in place, and said it is continuing to adjust its capacity to match demand for international air travel. In addition the carrier says flights are “subject to changes,” and assures customers that they will be informed of schedule adjustments via SMS and e-mail.
