Lufthansa Group Extends Rebooking Fee Waiver Through Feb. 28

Policy applies on all fares and routes on Lufthansa, SWISS, Austrian, Brussels Air and Eurowings

December 4, 2020

Through Feb. 28, the Lufthansa Group has announced it is extending the waiver of rebooking fees on all fares on Lufthansa, Swiss, Austrian Airlines, Brussels Airlines and Eurowings. Since the end of August, travelers have been able to rebook as often as desired free of charge.

Extending the rebooking fee moratorium means that Lufthansa Group airlines “are now even more responsive to their customers’ needs for flexible travel arrangements,” according to an announcement from Lufthansa.

Free rebooking applies worldwide to new bookings for all fares on short, medium and long-haul routes. However, customers may incur additional costs if, for example, the original booking class is no longer available when they rebook to a different date or destination. Any difference will require additional payment.
