Air Canada Expands Travel Ready Tool

Interactive online hub lets users check testing and entry requirements across the carrier’s entire network

September 12, 2021

Air Canada Travel Ready hub is expanding to give travelers the information they need on travel documentation, Covid-19 test requirements and country travel restrictions for destinations across the airline’s network.

The interactive online tool includes a new search widget which allows customers to look for requirements that apply to their specific situation and itinerary. Passengers can verify entry requirements for every country on their itinerary, even if they are connecting via another country or traveling with an airline partner.

In addition the solution displays COVID-19 test requirements and timeframes and provides travel advice such as airport arrival times and additional checks travelers may encounter.

“We continue to develop practical solutions to help our customers be travel-ready, wherever they want to go. This includes assisting them in navigating the changing entry requirements set by countries in our global network by making all relevant information available in one convenient place,” Lucie Guillemette, Air Canada’s executive vice president and chief commercial officer, commented.

“But beyond making essential travel information readily accessible, our easy-to-use Travel Ready hub is designed to make it simple for customers to choose where to go next by showing the countries that are open to visitors through an interactive map,” Guillemette added.
